Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons Duck Fat
- 2 Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 2 Sprigs Rosemary
- 2 Sprigs Thyme
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 Ribeye Steaks
- 1 Pair Of Split Lobster Tails
- Blue Crab Bay Garlic Herb Seasoning
- 1 Groomer’s Grilling Wood Plank
Cooking Directions:
- Pre heat your oven to 270 degrees while you allow your steak to reach room temperature.
- Heat a large Cast iron skillet with 3 – 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Once your steak is at room temperature and your skillet is very hot, season generously with salt and pepper then place the steak in the pan away from your body.
- Sear for 3-5 minutes on each side then remove skillet from stove top and place in your pre-heated oven for about 7 minutes.
- Remove the cast iron skillet from the oven and add duck fat, garlic, & herbs into the pan, tilting the pan to baste the steak for about 2 mins and then sprinkle Blue Crab Bay.
- Pull the steak off and place your steak to rest on a cutting board.
- Place your split lobster tails on your pre soaked Groomers Grilling Wood Plank (pro tip, place a skewer into the tail to keep them from curling), then brush on some duck fat and sprinkle on Blue Crab Bay seasoning.
- Place into the oven @ 280 degrees for 10 minutes or until tail is bright red and meat is thoroughly cooked.
- Pair with your favorite vegetable (or not)!
